The Visits – What to expect

Each visit, families see the same person. The visitor shares information and resources, and often becomes a trusted friend. They bring activities to share with the family. Kids have fun and look forward to visits. 

Parents say they feel seen and heard. Many say their home visitor becomes part of the family.

Flexible Meeting Locations

Visits can happen anywhere- they don’t have to be at home 

Visits can happen in homes, parks, libraries, or other places. Visits can be over Zoom, phone, or text. To make it easy, parents choose the location where they feel most comfortable meeting with their home visitor. 

Programs are open to parents and caregivers in Mendocino County from pregnancy and can continue until kids are ready for school.
